Description

Learn to keep your dog calm and focused when surrounded by distractions.  Every session of this workshop will feature new and different distractions and games.  Every session will include new people to greet.  Every session will have different props and people.  These workshops often have a seasonal theme.

This workshop includes working with other dogs nearby and practicing neutral dog skills.

This workshop is great for practicing your and your dog's skills in preparation for the therapy dog evaluation or to keep your training skills up to date.

Since each session is different, you can sign up for many sessions.

Prerequisites

Dogs 6 months and older who know basic skills such as sit, down, recall, loose leash walking, and stay.

During this workshop, you and your dog will be working with a variety of people.  This workshop is not appropriate for dogs who are fearful or aggressive toward dogs or humans.

If your dog barks nonstop when excited, this workshop is not a good choice because the class is held indoors.

If your dog is not quite ready for this workshop,  please consider a private lesson prior to attending this workshop.  If you would like to discuss your dog's behavior prior to signing up, please contact us.
