Master 'Stay' and 'Come' When Called
Teach your dog to stay and come back to you, even with distractions.
Description
This class is designed to help your dog reach the master level of staying until given permission for a release and then returning to you despite tempting distractions.
When you spill an entire bag of dog food on the floor, will your dog stay until you've cleaned it up? When you're at the Dog Park and it's time to go home, does your dog come back to you when called?
If your dog slips out of the front door and runs across the street, are you confident that they will stay when told and come straight to you when released?
These Stay and Recall skills are taught with fun games for the dog to work through and problem solve in many situations. Permission words are taught, and we will work in different environments with a variety of distractions.
Prerequisites
Age of Dog: 6 months or older
Courses: Beginner Dog Obedience & Manners, Intermediate Manners - Teamwork and Connection, current Dog Sport student, or instructor approval.
A basic knowledge of Susan Garrett’s Crate Games and Its Yer Choice are recommended.
