Description

Are you a first-time dog owner?

Do you own a Doodle or a dog with a thick coat?

Have your dog's eyes disappeared behind a mass of fur?

If you have answered yes to any of these, then this course is right for you.

This course covers the following topics:

  • How to choose shampoos and conditions that are best for your breed.
  • How to bathe a variety of coat types to achieve professional results.
  • How to keep your dog's ears clean and trimmed so you can avoid painful and expensive ear infections.
  • How to brush your dog's teeth for a lifetime of good health.
  • How to choose the right brushes and combs for your breed.  How to properly brush each type of coat.
  • The importance of drying your dog after bathing.
  • A brief introduction to trimming dog nails.

For this workshop, please bathe your dog and bring them dry.  We will demonstrate a bath and a blow dry for the class then condition your dog. During class, a list of high-quality, yet affordable products will be provided to make purchasing the right supplies easier.

We know you will be eager to practice your new skills, so after the course, a link will be provided to schedule a FREE dog bathing session at the Dog Alliance.  This is a $20 retail value.
