Train to be a Pet Stylist Assistant - (Level 1)

Train to become a Pet Stylist Assistant as a career. Assistance provided at the end of the course with job placement.

Description

The Dog Alliance Grooming Academy provides gentle, hands-on instruction to become a professional Pet Stylist Assistant.  This course is the first level of certification and the “in” you have been looking for to enter the elusive dog grooming career. At the end of this course, you will be able to master the art of above-standard bathing and fluff drying skills, basic sanitary clips, and “Trim & Tidy's.” You will also quickly become an essential asset to any salon currently hiring. Finding a quality assistant is extremely difficult, and your value is much appreciated! At the Dog Alliance Grooming Academy, we are not just a grooming school; we are the “new thought” grooming school, building community and growth through positive support and empowerment.

Our academy is based at the Dog Alliance in Cedar Park, Texas.  Our grooming lab has two tubs and plenty of room to participate in demonstrations and practice sessions.  Since the Dog Alliance is a non-profit with over 75 therapy dog teams and thousands of students yearly, there are always new dogs to practice on.

We believe in a gentle experience that is as much a learning experience for the model dog as for the student.  By focusing on skills, community, respect for the animal, and safety, the Dog Alliance Grooming Academy is raising the bar in the grooming industry.
