Start your dog’s training journey with practical, real-life skills taught through positive, reward-based methods. We focus on real-life skills so your dog listens at home and in public. 

Is group class right for your dog? If your dog barks excessively around dogs/people, barks nonstop for attention, is fearful of dogs/people, or pulls so hard you can’t walk safely from your car to the classroom, please register for a private lesson before enrolling in a group class. 

What you and your dog will learn: 

  • Focus: name response & “watch me” 

  • Sit, Down,Stand 

  • Leave it,Drop it 

  • Stay & wait at doors 

  • Come when called 

  • Loose leash walking (add “Go Left/Right”) 

  • Settle on a mat 

  • Polite people-greetings 

  • Tricks such as: spin, rollover, shake 

How we train using positive reinforcement: 

  • Short, fun reps and games 

  • Practice with real-life distractions 

  • Clicker or verbal marker for clear timing 

  • Safe equipment: flat collar/front-clip harness or head halter; no prong/shock/choke collars

Prerequisites

Age of Dog: 5 months and older
