Take the next step in your Service Dog training journey by practicing reliable behavior in real-world environments.

Description

Working Dog AKC CGC-Community helps you and your dog build reliable skills in real-world settings. You’ll practice working together around people, dogs, and everyday distractions as you continue through The Dog Alliance Service Dog training pathway.

Working Dog AKC CGC-Community is designed for clients participating in The Dog Alliance Service Dog Program. This course builds on the skills demonstrated in AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and gives you and your dog opportunities to practice those skills in real-world community settings.

Throughout the course, you’ll work on calm, reliable behavior around everyday distractions while strengthening the teamwork and handling skills needed as you progress through the Service Dog training pathway.

Working Dog CGC-Community includes additional support as part of The Dog Alliance Service Dog Program. Your course fee includes:

  • Training and instruction

  • Service Dog application process support

  • Program Milestone Evaluations

  • ADI-related paperwork and program support
